Jurutera Perunding Tegap Sdn Bhd is appointed by the Proton City Development Corporation Sdn Bhd as the Lead Consultant for the overall master planning and detail implementation of the said campus development.
In terms of master planning, the campus is planned over an area of 800 acres, situated at the south western portion of Proton City. The university planning is conceptualized based on a hybrid of the integrated and traditional campus concept whereby the campus is seen as a huge mega structure; a large complex with no boundaries and shared facilities to encourage inter-faculty interaction in academic and social programmes. The campus will embarrass a universal character with no obvious segregation among faculties in order to promote inter-disciplinary interaction among students and also academic courses. Though universal in character, each complex will have its formal entry and identity. Various faculties are grouped into complexes, unified through an academic spine which is designed to fit within the ten-minute 400 meter radius ?a comfortable walking distance within 10 minutes break between lectures. ?

| This development is located on part of Proton City Lot PT.10167, which is at southwestern part of the development bordering the Bernam Industrial Development. M/s Proton City Development Corporation Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Bhd, is the developer for the project. Jurutera Perunding Tegap Sdn Bhd is appointed as the Project Management Consultant for the project. |
